What is Brim?

Brim is a beautiful, simple budgeting app for iOS. It helps you track your spending and stay on top of your finances.

What devices does Brim support?

Brim is available on any device running iOS 18, macOS, or iPadOS 18 or later.

Account & Data

How is my data stored?

All your data is stored locally on your device. Nothing leaves your device.

Why is an account required if everything is stored locally?

An account is required so that when you sign in on another device with the same account, you skip the onboarding directly. This is helpful because iCloud can sometimes take a little time before syncing your data.

Does Brim require an internet connection?

No. Brim is 100% offline and everything is stored on your device.

Can I export my data?

Yes! Go to Profile > Settings > Export Data and you’ll get a CSV file with all your transactions.

Can I import data?

Yes. You can download the import template and import your data from another budgeting app or from your bank.

Features

Does Brim sync across devices?

Yes, everything syncs automatically with iCloud. You don’t have to do anything.
